The 7th International Workshop on Technology-enhanced Learning to Improve Quality of Life (TELIQOL 2022) continues the series of previous workshops, by exploring current research on the design, implementation and validation of technology-enhanced learning environments and tools to support special categories of learners seeking to improve the quality of their lives: elderly people, people with disabilities, unemployed adults, minorities, adults or young adults willing to change/boost their career path.
Learning is the main leverage in knowledge creation and skills acquisition, backbones of modern societies. People have to continuously acquire and develop knowledge and skills to face the challenging requests of their environment. Innovative methods, environments and devices for teaching and learning have been developed and recognized as useful by educational researchers. Together with the traditional forms of learning and education, modern forms are available: continuous education, education at work, competence-oriented education, online education, collaborative education, virtual training environments, etc, all designed with the purpose of improving quality of life.
